Unreal first week of football. Never would have guessed LSU would look so spectacularly bad. Also didn't think South Carolina would either.

And them Clempson. Who the heck saw Duke winning that one?

College football is taking a turn. With the transfer portal and NIL helping teams even up and the changes in the conferences, the next few years are going to be very interesting.

i'm just glad the clemson game was not part of our lineup... cuz that definitely would have been a wasted 10 point guess and i would have lost my top 2 picks, since tcu didn't do me any favors either

this week it seems the decisions were easier to make.... which probably means i'll top out between 15 and 20 points... mark my words! :verymad:

here's the way too early rankings... will be interesting to see the comparison between now and the final rankins... but why think about bowl game results when we're traveling to bama this week to see what kind of team we do have... i'm hoping we can repay last year's favor and take a win back home to austin

That degum Bama game hurt.

The days of Saban are numbered. He had a great run, but the NIL and transfer portal have evened up the game. He can't load up with 4 and 5 stars, knowing that half won't ever start for him, but keeps other teams from having them (namely Auburn and Georgia).

And perhaps Texas is back? Would great to see them being relevant again.

Good grief.

It's good to see you! Do you plan to use this as a temporary to avoid logging on to the other account on a public computer or something? Normally we don't allow duplicate accounts but I will make an exception at least for now. Can't have you missing out on the football guessing game can we? :-D

Hands down and twice on Sunday, worst week I’ve had in years.

Came up close on a couple of upset picks, but also some heavy favs lost.

Terrible.

Well, its been another weird year of football.

Here we are 2/3's the way done and I still don't see anyone being dominant.

GA looked good against FL, but hasn't been top tier for most of the season - although to be fair, KY isn't bad, so maybe I'm being too hard on them. Loosing a freak of an athlete at TE could hurt when they play someone that's next level.

MI has played absolutely nobody and with their schedule, even my beloved AU Tigers would be undefeated. Given the cheating that has happened, one must wonder if MI is really that good? I mean, with that weak a schedule one would think no sign-stealing would be needed.

OSU looks pretty decent, but largely have only played PSU and hardly dominated that game.

AL lost to a TX team that now doesn't look at that dominant anymore. So has AL turned a corner? I don't think you can ever count out a Nick Sabin football team.

In conclusion, the playoffs couldn't have started in a better season.

Should be fun.....
