I've never believed there really is a Dutch language. It's so implausible. Who would name a language after a cooking pot?

Currently Reading "To Love and be Loved" A Personal Portrait of Mother Theresa....by Jim Towey. It is, so far, a very good book.

Mr. Towey was a speaker at our Arkansas Catholic Men's Conference on Feb 10th. His talk, and memories of his personal encounters with Mother Theresa are not something I will soon forget.

I usually read several books at once:

- 'The Plant-Based Athlete' by Frazier and Cheeke - I'm currently learning more about nutrition and healthy eating. (I'm not vegan, but I'm trying to incorporate more plant-based foods into my diet. Did you know dill pickles are good for you?)

- 'Interior Freedom' by Jacques Philippe - This was recommended to me for spiritual reading, and I've found it very valuable.

- 'Software Requirement Patterns (Developer Best Practices)' by Stephen Withall - I'm currently assisting with some template development for our requirements team at work."

I have also bought Spiritual Combat revisited by Jonathan Robinsson - which I bought on the spur of the moment. Seems interesting and I plan to read it after Philippes book.

I'm reading Sherman W Gray's 1987 dissertation "The Least of My Brothers; Matthew 25:31-46, A History of Interpretation". So far he confirms my impression that this passage was not meant, and not originally used, to spur Christians into charity for needy people in general. It more clearly lets us see how Christ can judge those outside the Faith.

I'm re-reading the Three Body Problem in anticipation of the Netflix series (and have just begun watching the Chinese adaptation over on Peacock).

In the middle of Agatha Christie's Murder is Easy. We unfortunately watched the new Britbox production of this book, and it made me curious to read the real thing.

Is He Popenjoy? by Anthony Trollope. I read his The Bertrams before that.

He is one of my favorite Catholic Authors and I highly recommend anything he has written.

That's on my Amazon wishlist... with about 100 other books. I did read Pitre's Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary: Unveiling the Mother of the Messiah and think it was very, very, very good.

The Last Samurai by Helen De Witt (it has nothing to do with the Tom Cruise movie). I had to force myself to put it down in order to go to sleep.

Guilty pleasure... I'm reading Jurassic Park and Ender's Game again (it's fun to read them a chapter at a time and then switch to the other book).

I LOVE Ender's Game. Bought the Audible version which is a full cast. I usually loathe that sort of recording, preferring a single narrator, however, this one is great (plus, Harlan Ellison is one of the voices).

Going to try your suggestion with "Jurassic Park".

Last night I started reading Robert Harris' "The Conclave". Interruptions made my reading time short, but, it was good so far!
