The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams Bianco

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

The Diaries of Adam and Eve by Mark Twain

North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (I just realised on my re-read how much worse it is knowing what happened to one of the sisters)

And probably a handful more books... I weep too easily. XD

"A Severe Mercy" I read on a plane, did NOT have a fair warning and I literally burst into weeping tears.

"Little Women" always when Beth dies.

"A Tree Grows In Brooklyn"
