I don't know when I first discovered it, but it was sometime before the 21st century. it was difficult to navigate and only went as far back as Leo XIII. I figured that over time, additional Popes would be added.
On the day Pope Leo was elected, I looked at the webpage again for the first time in years, and it looked identical, still only going back to Leo XIII. Barely updated in 25 years or more.
But take a look at it now.

As slow as the Vatican is at updating their website, its still an order of magnitude faster than my company's IT department.
