I am sure that the tactical action against officers at the ICE detention center in Alvarado, TX, was mostly peaceful, resulting in the almost entirely peaceful wounding of a police officer. I am hopeful that the ten arrested and charged with attempted murder will have their peaceful actions recognized and that they will be released forthwith. With an apology and reparations.

It seems that the answer is "really deadly" and "a lot".

While I knew of him for several years, other than watching a brief clip now and again, he was not really on my radar. I've been kind of shocked at the level of his influence. Apparently he had been quite effective, and not just in this country. The tributes to him from places like So. Korea, are as surprising as his assassination itself.

I thought about posting something, but I didn't know what to say except the obvious, that the response of the Democrats was expected and predictable. "Violence against Nazi Republicans who are committing genocide and destroying the country is completely understandable, but still wrong for reasons I can't explain." Beyond that, I'm not sure what to say. I am surprised by all the flags flying at half mast and the international response, including 1 million marchers in London. This is the first successful political assassination since the 60s, and, no pun intended, but I think it will be a major turning point in international politics. Many are leaving the left over their disgust at the reaction of their compatriots, and the Democrats are humiliating themselves in a major way. The unprecedented self-destruction of the Democratic Party continues apace.

In the last year, red states have begun purging their voter rolls of illegal immigrants, convicted felons, dead people, and others not legally eligible to vote. And, to the surprise of no one with any sense, Democratic voter registration has declined nationally by 2.1 million, thus proving what we always knew, that a large number of Democratic votes are fraudulent.

Democrats are already predicting a huge surge in support and a massive victory in the 2026 midterms, while paradoxically also promoting conspiracy theories that Trump will cancel the election. But with the odds increasingly stacked against them, with record-low approval ratings, decreased voter registration, and redistricting in several red states to eliminate Democratic districts, and now widespread disgust at the utter depravity of Democrats like Elizabeth Warren and JB Pritzker who refuse to condemn political violence, the odds are very stacked against them and a comeback as soon as November of next year seems like wishcasting.

On July 4, 2025, a group of 10-12 individuals, some wearing military-style clothing and body armor, launched a tactical ambush at the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, TX. The attack involved vandalizing the facility with graffiti, using fireworks to lure officers, and firing at law enforcement personnel with AR-15 style rifles, injuring an Alvarado police officer. Investigators described the event as a planned attack on federal and local law enforcement officers. Sseveral suspects, including former Marine Benjamin Song, are facing charges such as attempted murder of federal agents and firearms offenses.

These are all very serious offenses and should and will I hope be carried out to justice. To even intimate that the incident was anything other than an ambush of Federal and local authorities shows, in my estimation a serious lack of either understanding the actual incident itself or an out right dismissal or intentional blindness of actual events.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated because of this very liberal view of Hitlerism, Fascism etc. As long as people are willing to accept violence over peaceful rhetoric other people like Tylor Robinson will continue to feel vindicated in using their terrible violent tendencies to solve their individual "axe to grind" political views.

I ask forgiveness Highlander but your solution to that particular incident is, as the brief but correct synopsis I provided, is the problem. Your kind of justice, as stated initially is every bit as damaging to American society as the acts of violence themselves, because to encourage that illegal, illicit behavior is best fomented by doing nothing.
