The Real Danger Isn’t Dumb People — It’s Smart People Without Wisdom

Saw this elsewhere. For me, it illuminates much of what we are experiencing.

Yeah, but smart people without wisdom stir up the dumb people. And sometimes pay them to do it too.

Smart people without wlsdom, much of which is learned through experience IRL, are sure they are right. Act accordingly. Act effectively. With results like our contemporary universities and Marxist economics.

I'm always reminded of something George Orwell quipped: "There are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them."

I'm pretty sure I've dropped this quote here at least once. Never gets old.
