17 years ago today, Pluto was demoted to minor planet status.

I reject the alleged demotion and indeed am a leader of the international Pluto's a Planet (IPAP) movement. Also, incidentally, I am a leader in the international "It's Donder, You Morons!" I think it is great that so many people are taking the demotion of Pluto as if it is a personal attack. I definitely felt personally attacked when it happened, they clearly did it just to irritate me personally.
